This is the short-acting ester of Nandrolone, distinct from the long-acting Nandrolone Decanoate (Deca-Durabolin). The Phenylpropionate ester provides a much faster release and a shorter half-life.

Nandrolone is structurally similar to testosterone but lacks a carbon atom at the 19th position, which gives it a distinct profile:
